Here are some photo of the land and buildings that we are now the proud owners of! Valhalla which means Heaven, in Norwegian, is where Mark and I have bought this 10 acers of Albertan farmland. It is also known as the Saddle Hills. Its vast sky and golden fields on the rolling hills is wonderful and I love the peace and quiet it offers up of itself.
We are somewhat in a small dip of a wee valley, and have trees to shield us from the road. It appears that we will build ourselves a small home , but there is still a chance we might try to save the old one and restore it.....we are preparing for both possibilities. We are downsize and need to sell our present home.
We will be needing the skills and help of all our children and whomever they can get to help, so we can get ourselves into our home soon.
