Hi Everyone!
We are the STANDRINGS' two words...'.Stand'.... and....'Ring"
Papa (Dad) and Nana (Mom) are the parents of five children. These are their nic-names... Etta, Boonie, Joe-Joe, Sweet Pete and Lilly. All the children were schooled on the Miramichi.
The five adult children have all moved to Alberta. Three of the children are married with children of their own. One is in a relationship and one is still available.
Nana and Papa Standring now have four grandchildren. Skee, Biffer, Dassi and Nonni.Also 'nic-names'.
The following pictures are of grand-kid day 2008. It is the fourth Annual grand-kid . Grand-son day was born in 2004 when the first grand-son(Skee) was five years old. He and his three year old cousin(Biffer) came to the Miramichi to stay for five day....Papa Standring invented a special day just for the kiddies. We have had one every year since. In 2007 a third grandchild was born...the first granddaughter...That year we had Grandson Day and Granddaughter Day. In 2008 another grandchild was born, a second granddaughter....so this year we amalgamated it into GRANDKID DAY!
It was fun as you can see from the faces of these sweet children!
