Mom/Nana working hard today!!

When up on the rugged rocks, in a wilderness setting
taking pictures of creatures rare and beautiful,
I found myself full of awsome wonder. And I would say over and over..."You are so good me, God"

Today I felt like a different person in a different world.
In that moment of time, I seemed to get a glimps
of how this world was meant to be.

I have now seen the whales....the eagles...the bear...the moose
and many differnt sea birds, all in this last ten days.

I have climbed hill....cliffs....and crossed rugged stone fields.
I have sailed on a touring vessel, a large ferry, and walked on many
a wharfs. I have talked to countless stangers. I have slept in B&B's and Hostles.
I have caught a man landing a salmon, who was a well known Newfoundland artist.
His pictures are on my website...as a token of his appreaction he gave me (and DeeDee)
a signed book. I have taken pictures of villages that are as they were 100 years ago.
I visited root cellars that hold there own mystrey...amazing thing to see!!!
I saw sheep, duck, horses, cattle, and wonderful Newfoundland dogs..
that care for these animals without a human presents.

I do not have room nor time to detail all these things, but I captured
pictures of it all. I already have over 4 thousands shots
of the wildness of Newfoundland. Being with my sister whom
was able from time to time to capture me capturing my moments of photography
it all seemed l
to good to be true.

I hope you enjoy all my posting over the next few weeks.

Love, Mother/Nana Standring

Little Monsters

Scott-Isaac has been into watching "Paranormal Investigation" programs. He likes to debunk their theories, and come up with rational explanations for the phenomenons. The last picture posted was him as a radioactive alien, we have since added shrek ears. Here are 3 more of my little monsters..... as per his request.

MANY BLESSINGS MY SON DANIEL

I have been away, visiting the wilderness of Newfoundland. I was behind on the family news. What a surprise when Daddy told me to go check the blog because we had a new addition.

First and foremost, congratulations to Daniel and Vick. It is indeed a growing family this year. We have welcome darling baby Naomi....have been waiting for the appearance of baby Piercen, and now we welcome Vickie, another daughter for Dad and I. We have been been so blessed with our add-ons....

Our First; Mark Flewwelling, such a gentle and kind man and a fantastic daddy, then came our sweet Corinna, and she was a tender and loving mom . Kris arrives and stold our hearts away, and then gave usthose two darling granddaughters. Then Isaac brings us a down home, charming, Miramichi darling, our Becky...and she sooo loves the babies, and I can't wait till she has her own wee one. We have had a chance already to meet Vicky, and I wanted you all to meet right away, for she is as full of delight as anyone you will meet on this planet. Daniel son, you complete this beautiful circle of giving us our newest in-law. She will fit into this family, like a glove on a hand.

I will see you in August when we arrive, and a week later I will see Vicky too.... It will be tons of fun with everyone...we will....we must have a family picture done....I am sooo excited to see you all.

Lovingly: Mother

The Waye Girls

To Scott-Isaac's Mommy

Oh Dear me Roxann, Poor Skee looks very sick or something....certainly not a nice picture of him!!!

Was it suppose to look like a rock star thingy....or like a scary fellow....not sure I got it???

He is such a handsome boy, Nana and Papa like the way he looks without all that photoshop stuff.

Give him our love...tell him Papa caught three big salmon down by the falls beside Auntie DeeDee's. Everyone is asking about him and are very disappointed not to see him, especially the Phillips.

Dassi looked enchanted as she saw the BIG BOOMS of the fireworks....Nana and Papa can't wait to see her....xoxoxoxoxoxo to our baby girl.
